What has nutrition ever done for us?

The good old phrase 'you are what you eat' is actually true. What we put into our body is what powers our cellular biology, builds our muscles and bones, and creates our hormones and neurotransmitters, which control everything from our sleep and mood to our digestion and menstrual cycle. In short, people often think nutrition is limited to supporting specific conditions, like weight management or sports performance, but this couldn't be further from the truth.

Nutrition is the foundation of health. It is tied to every health concern and disease, including cancer, cardiovascular disease and PCOS, as well as less tangible elements of health, like radiant skin, bright eyes, and an energetic zest for life. Yes, our genes play an important role, but (and excuse the slightly morbid analogy) they're what load the gun, our environment is what pulls the trigger.
With that in mind, here's a snapshot of some of my clients' concerns I've helped them with:
Low energy
Sugar cravings
Poor sleep
Bloating
Eczema
Painful periods
Exercise recovery
Psoriatic arthritis
Low mood
Fertility
Acne
Constipation
All of these issues can be caused by a wide range of factors which are usually different for every person, so there is no 'one size fits all' approach.

In The Reset I take the time to ask you many (many!) questions and listen to you as we talk about your goals, your symptoms, your family's health, your medical history since birth, how each body system is performing, what you're eating and drinking and how you're living. I drill down into what's driving the symptoms you're experiencing so we can understand the why and work to address the root cause, rather than simply saying "you feel bloated, this is what we do for bloating."
If you're experiencing any of the above and are at a loss to why, or if you have any other niggling symptoms or concerns, please do get book in for a free, no obligation discovery call. I'd love to chat!
